Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
