Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ridge Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
