Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Juniper Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Hartford design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
