Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Stone Freight is a Grand Rapids logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We reward reliability. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
