Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Fresno, CA)

Summit Meadow Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
