Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Fresno, CA)

Silverline Ashton Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fresno design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 259 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
