Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Quarry Freight Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
