Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (El Paso, TX)

Rivermark Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the El Paso area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 563 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
