Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Ivory Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
