Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Keystone Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 471 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
