Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Denver, CO)

Northwind Meridian Foods Partners makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Denver. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
