Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Denver, CO)

Summit Forge Transit Planning Partners plans bus and rail service for cities around Denver, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
