Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Dallas, TX)

Fernwood Amber Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Dallas region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
