Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Dallas, TX)

Bright Basin Foods produces packaged foods at its Dallas plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
