Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Meadow Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
