Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Cedar Juniper Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
