Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Field Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
