Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Colorado Springs, CO)

Westbrook Sparrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Colorado Springs, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
