Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Cincinnati, OH)

Northwind West Freight Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Cincinnati. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
