Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Cincinnati, OH)

Redstone Umber Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 415 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
