Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Quarry Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
