Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Amber Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
