Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Charlotte plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 221 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
