Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Charlotte, NC)

Redstone Pine Manufacturing makes precision components in Charlotte, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
