Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Fern Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
