Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing is a Charleston manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
