Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Buffalo, NY)

Foxglove Summit Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Buffalo, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service appointments and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
