Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Union Facilities Group looks after properties across the Birmingham region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 997 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
