Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Wren Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Baltimore with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 302 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
