Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Baltimore, MD)

Rivermark Bridge Farms Group supplies farm and food customers across the Baltimore region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
