Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Atlanta, GA)

Cedar Field Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Atlanta region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
