Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Atlanta, GA)

Lumen Lakeside Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Atlanta. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
