Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Anchorage, AK)

Cedar Field Construction Group is a Anchorage contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
