Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Northwind Wilder Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for warranty claims and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
