Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Albuquerque, NM)

Cedar Pike Manufacturing makes precision components in Albuquerque. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
