Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Albuquerque, NM)

Ironwood Ember Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Albuquerque. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
