Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Birch Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 161 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
