Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Wichita, KS)

Northwind Ivory Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
