Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Wichita, KS)

Rivermark Harbor Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Wichita plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
