Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Wichita, KS)

Stonegate Hollow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Wichita. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
