Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Virginia Beach and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
