Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Virginia Beach, VA)

Stonegate Fox Construction Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
