Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Tulsa, OK)

Ironwood Birch Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
