Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Drift Inspection Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
