Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Bright West Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
