Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Tampa, FL)

Stonegate Cedar Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Tampa, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
