Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Tampa design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
