Operations Manager - safety and compliance (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Northwind Meridian Foods Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
