Operations Manager - safety and compliance (St. Louis, MO)

Stonegate Umber Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
