Operations Manager - safety and compliance (St. Louis, MO)

Amberfield Oak Foods Group is a St. Louis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
